Jarrod Spear

                                          
       

Named Queensland Gymnastics 2013 Athlete of the Year for Trampoline Sports, Jarrod has an esteemed history in Trampolining.

After starting at age six in his backyard, Jarrod has progressed to win many a national title and lead the country into international competition, including as Team Captain at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2013.

Along with his silver medal at the 2013 nationals, Jarrod finished 24th in the Double Mini Trampoline event and eighth in the Double Mini Trampoline team event at the World Championships.

Spear again represented Australia at the World Championships in Florida in 2014, finishing 26th in the Double Mini Trampoline event.

In 2015, Spear, along with Blake Rutherford, finished 5th in the Synchronised Trampoline competition at the Australian Championships.

2016 proved to be a successful year for Jarrod as he was selected to represent Australia at the 2016 Indo-Pacific Championships in New Zealand. Spear put on a impressive performance on each appartus resulting in him bring home a silver medal for Individual Trampoine and 2 bronze medals on Double Mini Trampoline and Synchronised Trampoline with partner Ryan Hatfield.
