As a Sporting Schools provider, your club can build stronger links with the schools in your community and encourage more children to get active.

The process to become a Sporting Schools provider has never been easier, so there is no better time to join the more than 150 gymnastics clubs and mobile providers around Australia in delivering a Sporting Schools program in their local area.

Becoming an Endorsed Coaching Provider/Private Coaching Provider

To be eligible to deliver Sporting Schools, your club must be affiliated with Gymnastics Australia via the relevant state/territory association and all coaching providers will be required to hold a minimum of an intermediate Gymnastics Australia coaching accreditation from any Gymsport.

Schools Information

All Sporting Schools gymnastics programs need to be booked through the Sporting Schools Online Booking Portal. You can list your preferred coaching provider in the notes section when making a booking.

All coaches involved in the Sporting Schools program are qualified and accredited with Gymnastics Australia, including having current Working with Children Checks (WWCC).

Teachers from schools are expected to provide supervision of all participation children at all times, allowing assistant coaches and other teachers the ability to gain further knowledge to improve and develop your students’ fundamental movement skills and abilities.

Coaches will set up and pack up the in-school program, utilising any equipment the school has available. For more information about the LaunchPad suite of programs, click here . 

An administration fee of ($170 + GST) will be paid to Gymnastics Australia to provide schools with the relevant Launchpad resource and access to the online lesson planner. Gymnastics Australia will invoice schools directly for the administration fee, once the program has been confirmed by the club/provider. The provider will initially provide a quote to the school to accept and will invoice the school directly for the program delivery fee.
