About a Judge Accreditation

You must be a Technical Member of Gymnastics Australia for the accreditation to be active. The 2017 Technical Member Handbook provides information on, technical membership, accreditation and updating.

How long does an accreditation last?

Most Gymsport judging accreditations are consistent with the Olympic cycle and consequently are only valid for that four year cycle. The accreditation expires at the end of the four year cycle. Judges are required to undertake updating activities to maintain competencies during the four year cycle. Some judge accreditations currently do not expire:

  • Beginner Judge in ACR, MAG, TRP
  • Intermediate Judge in MAG

How do I re-accredit?

All information on how to re-accredit can be found in the section, How do I become a coach / How do I register for a judge course.

It is most IMPORTANT that the training you undertake for your accreditation for the next Olympic cycle is a sanctioned course, and not just a Workshop.  Workshops can assist you with preparing for the course but will NOT be given credit as the formal training course.

Can I have my prior learning recognised?
