Advanced Silver Coach Accreditation
The Advanced Silver Coach Accreditation provides a coach with the skills and knowledge to coach athletes up to state and/or national level with the potential to support gymnasts on the pathway to international competition.

UPCOMING FIG LEVEL 2 COURSES
The 2021 FIG Level 2 Course will be for MAG, WAG, RG, TRP, AER & ACR. This course will be held over a 7-month period commencing in June 2021 and concluding in December 2021. The course will be conducted through a blended delivery model consisting of virtual program for the theory and a shortened residential program for the practical in November/December depending on your specific Gymsport.

Applications for the Academy will remain open until midnight on Sunday 20th June 2021. Upon submission of your application, you will be required to pay a deposit of 25% the course cost to secure your place in the Academy. The deposit must be received within 5 business days of your submission. please refer to the payment guide for instructions on how to make payment through the GA Learning Management System. Once the deposit has been paid, you are accepted into the course.
How to apply for the FIG Academy 2 Course
Who Should Apply?
This course is most suited to coaches who have experience working with gymnasts in Level 7 to 10 or equivalent. To gain this experience, it is expected that the coach will have gained knowledge through appropriate professional development and learning.
Please be advised that to be eligible for an Advanced Silver Coach Accreditation, candidates must achieve 60% or above in both the theoretical and practical components of the course. If a candidate already holds an Advanced Silver Accreditation course results will not affect this accreditation.

* Other than MAG & WAG, the residential program will not be a "live in" experience as per previous years. Candidates will be required to organize their own flights, accommodation, meals, daily travel to the venue etc.
** Fees do not cover flights or transport to/from the venue. It is your responsibility to ensure you are present for the commencement of the Academy.
Should your club or another party elect to fund your attendance at this course it will be your responsibility to organise payment via the LMS. GA will not generate invoices to third parties and all payments must be made via the LMS by the due date.
Upon submission of an application, candidates will be required to pay 25% of the total fee to confirm their spot in the Academy. The course must be paid in full prior to the Residential component of the Academy.
GA will offer payment plans for paying the required fees. The payment plan will split the cost of the course into 4 equal payments, allowing the cost of the course to be broken up over time. Full payment must be received prior to the residential program.
Payment Plan:
- 25% deposit/instalment 1 - $481.25 due within 5 business days of submitting application.
- Instalment 2 - $481.25 due 11 July.
- Instalment 3 - $481.25 due 5 September.
- Instalment 4 - $481.25 due 31 October.
MAG & WAG Residential Program Package:
- MAG & WAG accommodation & meals package - $550 due 13 January 2022
