Along with maintaining our physical health and strength as we look to reopen. it is also important that we focus on our own mental health and that of our athletes. It is also important to know what resources and support networks are available to you. If you’re feeling anxious or worried seek support if you need it. National mental health organisations have some great online resources available (Beyond Blue have information specifically pertaining to COVID-19) and are always a good starting point – you can call beyondblue on 1300 22 4636 for free counselling or Lifeline in a mental health crisis on 13 11 14.
