Mental Health

The AIS Mental Health Referral Network has extended its reach and is now available to all categorised athletes within Gymnastics as well as High Performance coaches.
Elite athletes or coaches with mental health concerns are encouraged to call the service for a private discussion or speak with Gymnastics Australia’s Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement Manager, Stephanie Moorhouse at [email protected].

How it works:

  • Elite Athletes or High performance Coaches are put in contact with the AIS Mental Health Team.
  • A Mental Health Adviser will discuss your concerns and refer you, or the athlete/coach you are referring to the most suitable psychologist or mental health practitioner within your State.
  • Friends, family, sporting organisations, general practitioners and allied health professionals can also refer athletes or coaches to the service using the contact details below.
