Carol Mills 

Appointed Director and President

Carol is a highly respected and trusted chief executive with experience across the public, private, non-profit and university spheres. Her leadership career has covered a diversity of areas, with a strong focus on sport and recreation administration, grants and facilities management, social inclusion, community wellbeing, planning and service delivery. Her portfolios include social and affordable housing, community regeneration, sport and recreation infrastructure and programs, arts and heritage administration, liquor and gaming regulation, education, disability services, ageing, children's services and Aboriginal affairs.

Carol has held the CEO positions of Director General, Communities NSW and the Department of Arts, Sport and Recreation in the New South Wales public sector and Secretary, Department of Parliamentary Services, Canberra. She was also a/Director General and Deputy Director General of the Departments of Housing, and Ageing, Disability and HomeCare and was the inaugural head of the Office of Community Housing. 

Most recently, Carol was the President of Gymnastics New South Wales.
